Meet our instructors!

Jason Moeller (He/Him/His)

Hi! My name is Jason, and I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I first found my passion for teaching science there, as a summer camp counselor at the St. Louis Zoo. I graduated from Indiana University (go Hoosiers!) in 2009, and stayed an extra year to earn my teaching credential. I worked as the School Programs Coordinator at Zoo Knoxville from 2010 to 2016, where one of my main responsibilities was teaching their homeschool program. After my wife and I moved to Nashville in 2016, I joined Adventure Science Center. I started the homeschool science program here in 2017. The thing I love the most about Adventure Science Center is the wide range of different sciences I get to teach! My favorites are herpetology, sports science, flight, and oceanography. I can’t wait to see where this semester takes us!
