Join the ASC Green Team as we look at climate science basics. Why is Earth sometimes called the Goldilocks Planet? Why is the Earth warmer now? What does this increase in average global temperature mean to living things on Earth? How can we slow down global warming?

In a unique collaboration with University School of Nashville, ASC offers a real world science field experience that introduces students to an incredible wetlands ecosystem. Using school transportation, students and teachers meet with an ASC Educator at USN's wetlands to identify plants and animals, while collecting specimens to take back to the ASC microscope lab. At ASC, students make observations about the special adaptations of aquatic invertebrates and wetland plants. This fascinating experience is bound to excite and inspire all young scientists.
