Classroom Outreach Programs

Teachers, would you like to add something different to your everyday lesson plan? Adventure Science Center offers great classroom outreach programs that will complement your science curriculum as well as give your students an enjoyable hands-on experience. Classroom outreach programs are suitable for up to 40 students (per class).

Dinosaur Discoveries

Grades K-5

Scientists draw conclusions about the structure and behavior of dinosaurs by comparing their fossils to observations of animals living today. Grades 3-8

It's all about the states of matter in fun demonstrations and exciting experiments using liquid n itrogen. Become atomes in role-playing activities and see how atoms move differently in a solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.interactions of matter 13.0

Young Inventors Workshop

Grades 3-8

NEW! Which shapes make the best structures? How much weight could a straw suspension bridge hold? Could a toilet paper tube support your weight? How do you make a car move with just a puff of air? Answer these questions and more in this workshop that will teach your students the importance of working together to complete certain tasks as well as strengthen their inventive minds.forces and motion 11.0

Program dates are subject to availability. Schools outside of Davidson County pay a mileage fee of $.485 per mile.

Program Fees:
Davidson County: $3 per student
Perimeter and Rural counties: $2 per student + mileage

Perimeter counties: Cheatham, Williamson, Rutherford, Wilson, Sumner, Robertson
Rural counties: Counties beyond the Perimeter counties
