Summer 2009

Dear Campers,
We have another fun-filled summer of camp planned for you here at the Adventure Science Center’s Camp Quest.

Everyday is jam-packed with activities that fit within this summer’s exciting themes. This summer we’re going to train to be astronauts and race car drivers as we build rockets and learn the science behind racing. We will study the world’s energy problem and start on the path to solve it. Campers will see that there is more to music than playing an instrument. We’ll have our own “Day at the Museum” as we take an exclusive look at each of our exhibits, and we’re going to bust some myths.

Our older campers will have the opportunity to voyage into the Nashville community and take a behind-the-scenes look at the automotive industry, telecommunications, and all things design-related, right here in our own hometown.

I’m looking forward to a great summer. I hope you are too!

Sincerely,
John Hawkins
Camp Coordinator

ABOUT CAMP QUEST

Camp Quest is a summer day camp providing science enrichment opportunities for children entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Campers develop more than just a better understanding of science. At Camp Quest, they expand their creative sides, expend energy with field games, build friendships and take away memories that will last a lifetime. These are some of the most influential years in the development of these campers and ASC wants to do everything it can to help shape their lives in the most positive ways.
